Spa & Swimming Pool Cleaning

Swimming Pool Supplies

If your pool has been left alone for over a month, the water is probably to the point that it is no longer safe. The delicate PH balance of the water must to be maintained to prevent algae growth. Once growth occurs the water will rapidly turn bad.
Spa's are less used than swimming pools, giving the water more time to turn acidic or alkaline. Some spa's will have different chemicals than in swimming pools so paying attention to what you are using is key.We are here to help if your swimming pool is overwhelming your day.

Pool Cleaners - Local Weekly & Monthly Cleaning Visits

Swimming pool maintenance should be preformed on a constant, weekly basis. During the winter months chemicals may only need to be added on a biweekly basis. Winter weather doesn't evaporate as much water leaving more chemicals in the pool. Each visit to your pool should include physical and chemical treatment.
Cleaning an above ground pool, a fiberglass pool, a plaster lined pool & a pebble texture pool will include most of the same steps. If the plaster or lining of your swimming pool is chipping away, be sure to watch the suction going into a pool vacuum as it may lift and remove more of the lining.

Swimming Pool Filter

Pool Maintenance - Filter Cleaning & Basket Cleaning

Necessary in all cleanings, checking the pool skimmer basket and filter for leaves, bugs & debris will ensure your pump isn't working overtime and limiting it's life. The pool skimmer basket will be at the side of the pool and the pool filter basket will be located at the inlet to your pools pump. In order to check the filter fins contained in the filter tank for you pool, first drain the tank using the backwash arangement on you valves and allow it to drain without the pump on. Also release the air valve located towards the top of the tank, this will bring air in to replace the water in the tank. Once the water level is below the cap line, loosen and remove the clamp that is securing the cap. The filter grids should be ridged, not broken or cracked, and clear of debris, if not replace or call us for installation help. Always add DE when cleaning a DE filter by pouring the recommended amount into the skimmer. Sand pool filters will be cleaned using the backwash configuration of valves until the sand is too fine to be effective, in which case it is replaced with new sand.
